Estimation of flood damage in Lorestan province

Estimates of flood damage in the cities of Mamolan and Pol-e Dokhtar in Lorestan province show that as a result of this flood, damage has been done to residential fabric, communication network, buildings and agricultural lands.

Preliminary assessment shows that in the city of Mamolan, an area of about 20 hectares has been affected by floods, in which 20 housing units have been completely destroyed and 24 units have been seriously damaged, and 257 units may have been damaged. Also in this accident, about 200 meters of main roads and 1400 meters of rural roads have been destroyed and about 8.2 hectares of agricultural lands have been damaged.

In the city of Poldakhtar, an area of about 340 hectares was affected by this flood, which seriously damaged 476 units. 626 units may also have been damaged. Also in this accident, about 2 km of side and rural roads were destroyed and 6.4 km was damaged. About 380 hectares of agricultural lands in Pol-e Dokhtar city have also been damaged.
